Mona Corro

Spa Owner, Licensed Aesthetician, Makeup Specialist

Mona received her professional skincare training at Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics in Woburn, MA.   She has more than 1200 hours of training in Advanced Aesthetics and Spa Therapy and is certified in the application of chemical peels.  She has completed numerous hours of Post Graduate Education with DermaCare USA, GM Collin Skincare, Physician's Choice of Arizona and Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup.  She also completed a course in "Advanced Skin Analysis, The Pastiche Method" with international trainer, researcher and author, Florence Barrett-Hill of Pastiche Resources Ltd.

Before embarking on her career in skincare, Mona earned an Associates Degree in Allied Health at Southern Maine Technical College and has worked for 28 years in the healthcare field.

Phyllis Glenn

Customer Service Manager, Makeup Specialist

Phyllis is a native of Brunswick and received her Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences from Casco Bay College.  Before joining Sweet Water, she worked as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper for more than 15 years.  Phyllis has always had a passion for makeup so when she joined Sweet Water and started using the Jane Iredalemakeup; she was sold on the quality and ease of application.  Since then, she has taken numerous continuing education classes with Jane Iredale, including several "Master Classes" with Jane Iredale University.  Phyllis loves applying makeup and teaching clients the proper techniques of mineral makeup application.  

Phyllis and her husband, Rob, are the proud parents of two daughters, Jessica and Michelle.  Phyllis is active in community theatre and is an accomplished singer.

"I believe that music is an important element in your life every day.  It has such a wonderful effect on you mood ~ whether you are looking to get motivated to do chores or trying to relax after a long and stressful day.  Listening to music can also lift your spirits when you are feeling down.  Music surrounds you at Sweet Water and helps to create a relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy."

 

Heidi Carlson

Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, Reiki Practitioner

Heidi graduated from the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996.  She is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Clinical Sports massage, and Swedish massage.  She also practices energy work, Reflexology, Reiki and Chakra Balancing. 

When Heidi is not working at the Spa or waitressing at a small café in Harpswell, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, walking her dog, practicing Yoga and stretching.

 "I believe massage is a place for the body and the spirit to reconnect.  With each massage, I use a blend of neuromuscular and energy work techniques and I try to let my intuition guide my hands. My goal as a therapist is to assist your body in its healing journey. I believe it is important to take a break from our full lives to make time to relax and renew."


 

 

Linda Hanson 

Customer Service Representative

Before joining Sweet Water, Linda worked as a retail buyer and manager for more than 6 years.   She returns to the work force after conquering cancer, the toughest challenge of her life.   Along with her responsibilities at the customer service desk, Linda is responsible for all the beautiful retail displays at Sweet Water.   Linda and her husband Larry have three grown children, two grandchildren, and a Black Lab named “Lexie”.  

"I believe that relaxation is the key to good health. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is moving in fast forward. We forget to pause, live in the moment, and enjoy the gifts we already have. To me, Sweet Water is a gift of relaxation, not only for the clients we serve but also for the staff who work here."


Karen Perry

Customer Service Representative

Karen joined our team of professionals in the spring of 2009.  She works on the desk on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and every other Saturday.  Karen has been a native of Bath-Brunswick for over 30 years.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and taught in the local schools for ten years.  Karen also has experience in the health and fitness industry; she owned a fitness club, worked as a manager and a fitness trainer and is a certified yoga instructor.  

In her spare time, Karen enjoys running, biking, kayaking, and teaching yoga.  She is an avid movie fan and loves good food and good wine.  She shares her life with her husband of thirty-two years and "Bree", the family dog.  Karen defines herself as lightly spiritual and committed to not taking life too seriously.

Sandy Fecteau

Owner of Everlasting Electrology, Licensed Electrologist

 

Sandy joined Sweet Water in 2008 as an independent contractor and although she is not a Sweet Water employee, her business has been an integral part of our success.
